POSITION SUMMARY:
Manages and coordinates unit, directs and supervises functions and activities,
interprets
policies/procedures/protocols, standards and regulations as appropriate.
Performs duties
in any nursing capacity as needed. Demonstrates proficiency in delivering care
to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults,
geriatrics, pediatrics), and participates in related continuing education.
JOB SPECIFICATION:
Required Licenses
Current California Licensed Registered Nurse
Required Certification/Registration:
BLS for Healthcare Providers sponsored by the American Heart Association; and
ACLS. Employees transferring into areas that require ACLS must complete the
requirement within 180 days.
