*Reviews production schedules for the day and the week
*Coordinates, directs, and evaluates all employees in food production, kitchen, prep and production areas
*Insures that production orders are completed on time.
*Orders ingredients, tracks and rotates inventory to insure product freshness
*Insures quality of the food produced is of the highest quality and freshness
*Trains and directs plant personnel on the proper and safe operation of equipment
*Schedules work to be performed efficiently and organized
*Maintains interaction with others to keep apprized of changes
*Stays abreast of equipment upkeep and maintenance of the same
*Is responsible for a clean and organized production facility
*Oversees special projects to completion, while working within specific time constraints
*Ensures that materials are available to prevent work stoppage.
*Ensures the Safety and Security of all personnel
*Operates and contributes to a HACCP Structured environment with emphasis on GMP's, SOP's, SSOP's while collaborating closey with Quality Contol/Quality Assurance department.
*Speaks and writes proficiently in English and Spanish
*Is proficient in MS Word and Excel
*Works well under pressure and is a team player
