The first call started out promising... they responded to my call the same day & turned up on time. Ben was very nice & professional & fixed the shut off handle on the spigot within a short time frame. The problems did not begin until after he left. I went to inspect the work & found that water was pouring out & the ground was ankle deep in water. I immediately called them back & was told he would come back to inspect. Fortunately, I was able to turn the water off at the shut off valve, or else my water bill would have been astronomical because it took him over four hours to come back to my house!!! He then proceeded to tell me that one of the pipes cracked (one that he was not working on) & it could be $200 - $500 to repair depending upon which pipe it was. After further inspection he detected that it was the pipe he was working on, it should be an easy fix & cost $200, but he would have to come back in the morning with one of his guys to fix it. Which he did. However, I am still baffled at why I had to pay him to fix something he broke. I'm not sure who I am more upset with... the plumber or myself for actually paying him! I will now build a shrine around my $325 outdoor water spigot because goodness knows it's valuable enough now to warrant such reverence!
