About justBurbank.com - First Rule, Burbank Only
Our local directory is truly local and complete. We list all local businesses for free. If a customer is looking for a Burbank business or professional, they are going to find all of them here. This was the first rule. It had to be strictly local...no Glendale ads sneaking in... no paid listings from Sherman Oaks or Santa Clarita or elsewhere. This is what you often see in other ‘local’ directories. Even the big guys who have been in the business for years are just not doing it right. We want to do it right.
Our expertise began with website design, and internet marketing for over 10 years. We still work with small businesses every day and understand the need for targeted local searches. justBurbank.com has become a local hub where residents, government and non-profits can post events, coupons, classifieds and other useful notices for free. Lots of visitors to our site means more traffic to local businesses and also aligns with our underlying motive to become a busy online forum from which everyone in Burbank can benefit.

We can make a difference right here in “Burbank City”
We believe that one of the most effective ways to make a difference in this very complex world is to act locally. On a local level, individuals actually can have a strong voice, can get heard and can affect change more quickly.
We believe that people want to contribute to the community and are only waiting to be asked. So, what can we each do right now, with our own resources to make Burbank a city that is a model for all cities to emulate? We have some ideas, others have ideas and we just need some focused collaboration to take on some important issues. Think big. We have a notion that we might be able to fix our own schools, provide for our own security, clean up our own piece of the planet and aid those less fortunate right here, right now. We know that the City of Burbank has a plan for sustainability and our Water & Power Dept has an important plan to conserve water and energy. We will help them promote what is needed from all of us to accomplish these goals together. This is a call to civic participation and responsibility. We can each make a difference, one person, one neighborhood, in one city at a time.

justBurbank.com hopes to make “going local” good for both business, good for Burbank and good for the planet. The most obvious way is that shopping locally saves on gas and increases local business income which means more tax dollars paid locally to the City of Burbank for local services. As the founders of justBurbank.com, we see our mission as:
- Promote: Help small businesses become more visible online through local advertising and marketing.
- Inform: Provide a free venue for posting information about local business, events, fundraisers, jobs, real estate, networking and discounts.
- Communicate: Open lines of communication to and from business, residents, government and non-profits to enable groups and individuals to connect.
- Participate: Inspire and engage individuals with ways they can participate to accomplish community goals and solve local issues, right here, right now.
